Made this pie for Thanksgiving 2021 and it was a hit! My fear of soggy bottomed pie were erased by following the tips to drain the excess water. Will definitely be making this again!

Nope, I don’t just post “healthy” recipes. I believe in treats in moderation. I prefer making homemade versions because at least if I’m eating flour and sugar I can choose organic varieties and skip all the artificial ingredients, chemicals and food dyes in store-bought items!
