I think that the cream might break and make your crisp soggy.

Can I pipe this on to an apple crisp and store in a jar?

Sounds easy to make and good to taste. Going to try this recipe instead of buying whipped cream from the store. Thanks for the recipe!! Janice Hatfield

In reply to Kim.

I added 8oz cream cheese and it was great. Next time, I will double this recipe and add 8oz cream cheese again for a guilt free cheesecake treat. I made this with my 4-year-old. We added an assortment of berries that needed to be eaten and called it “Berries in the Snow.” She loved it!

Yes absolutely, you just need to make sure you only put in an amount that your mixer can handle.

I would like to do some whip cream. Does it work OK making bigger batches? I usually have 2 gallons of cream at a time.

That sounds like a fun way to solve a holiday problem!

When our mixer quit on us one holiday we put all the ingredients in a jar, put the lid on tight and shook it for all its worth. It did take a bit, just over 5 minutes, and we did pass it around when our arm was tired, but it was successful nonetheless.
