Very interesting , being a 79 year old Italian I find it very interesting you do not cook your sauce . mom always did . oldve oil in a pot seated of course , then add dry herbs , that releases the oil in them stir around till fragrant then added tomato past stir till it breaks down , then added puree stir then tomato sauce 2 puree ta one sauce simmer till done , just wanted to share this with you . just got your first recipe will look forward to more. thank you for being you!!!!!! I have been cooking since six years old love gardening fishing cooking . was a James Beard associate in the 1970s a very funny guy ,

As an Italian, I only use my homemade sauce/grave…whatever you want to call it. This is the same as my family’s recipe except I like to add fresh basil.

You have ruined me for ever purchasing store bought pizza sauce again. Wish I could give this recipe a 10⭐️rating. I LOVE sauce on my pizza but even requesting it from a order out pizza place it made the pizza soggy. This sauce was beyond delicious and it did not make my carb balance tortilla soggy one tiny bit and I put a lot on. I’m am so impressed I’m going to give it as a Christmas gift to my friends. It’s DELICIOUS. I never thought I’d see a day when I made better than store or restaurant pizza sauce for pennies and in minutes. I can’t thank you enough for sharing your expertise chef.
