What were the measurements of chocolate? Did you just add coco powder?

Perhaps with the addition of coco powder and chocolate chips?

I do not think it includes the protein powder.

Delicious! A question though, does the nutritional info at the bottom include the addition of the optional protein powder, or is it with it omitted?

Your testimony of DAILY consumption for years made me want to try these. I made them in an 11×7 with old fashioned oats and they are GREAT! I put some in the freezer for grab and go breakfast and also to hide them from my young adult sons who will devour the whole pan if I don’t stash some. Thanks Laura!

I added chocolate and a little sugar to the peanut butter frosting. For a breakfast bar its was pretty good.

These are sooo easy to make and yummy. I have had them for breakfast every day this week and am getting ready to make my second batch. I love the recommendation to try them with pumpkin too! I do have a question though, would it be ok to warm the peanut butter first to spread on top? I found it was a little tough to spread using the natural peanut butter.

Hi. This is a very easy recipe, full of extraordinary nutrients. Mine came out well, though I would prefer them to be sweeter and with a crunchy factor. I may be trying them again with a 3rd banana and with crunchy peanut butter on top and/or a 3rd tbsp of maple syrup. I did not use the protein powder; this may also help with the sweetness.

I use an app called “Whisk”, you can also add an extension on your browser to save recipes from the internet. It calculates this, it says the Glycemic Index is 45 (low) and the Glycemic load is 12 (moderate). If the recipe does not contain the amount of servings, you have to add that to get the calculation under the nutrition facts. Good luck!
